These terms cover your use of Wabi, run by Meter: the site, the dashboard, the API, the MCP server, the CLI and the sandbox. By creating an organization or calling the API you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. Wabi is a working name and the product is in early access; we will email customers before material changes to these terms take effect.

What Wabi is

Wabi is software for operating a WhatsApp Business Account on Meta's Cloud API: managed webhooks, an inbox, templates, contacts, AI agents, analytics and an API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Your WhatsApp Business Account and Meta's terms

  • You bring your own WhatsApp Business Account. It, its phone numbers and its standing with Meta are yours; you can disconnect it from Wabi at any time.
  • Your use of the WhatsApp Business Platform is governed by Meta's own terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy. You must follow them: get the opt-ins they require, honour opt-outs, and only send content they allow. Meta may limit, pause or ban numbers, templates or accounts; Wabi cannot override those decisions.
  • Meta's message fees are charged by Meta to your account's payment method. We do not bill or mark them up, and the estimates we show are estimates: Meta's invoice is what you owe Meta.

Your content and your customers' data

Messages, contacts, templates, knowledge sources and everything else you put in Wabi stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you, including sending them to Meta and to the AI providers named in the privacy policy. For your customers' personal data we act as your processor, as described there. You are responsible for having the right to collect and message the people you message.

AI agents and AI drafts

AI agents and AI translations can be wrong. You decide where agents may answer, what tools they may call and when they hand off, and you are responsible for what your agents send to your customers. Review AI-drafted templates before submitting them.

Plans, usage and payment

  • Plans, allowances and overage rates are on the pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled, and are charged in advance through Stripe; usage past the allowance is charged after the period, up to the budget cap you set.
  • You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.
  • The Free plan and the sandbox are provided as they are and may change. Sends past the Free allowance are refused rather than charged.

Acceptable use

  • No spam, no messaging people who have not opted in, and nothing illegal, deceptive or harmful.
  • Keep API keys secret; you are responsible for calls made with your organization's keys and by agents you connect.
  • Don't probe or overload the service, get around its limits, or use it to build a competing product from its output.
  • Feedback board posts are public, so don't post confidential information there.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules or Meta's policies, or that puts the service or other customers at risk.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep Wabi available and to deliver every message and webhook, but during early access it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind and without a service level, unless an Enterprise agreement says otherwise. Meta's platform is outside our control.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Meter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using Wabi and delete your organization at any time; export your data first. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice by email and will give you time to export.
